Sonny Perkins took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidoro Valentine. Isidoro Valentine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sonny Perkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Valentine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute Sonny Perkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind DZ Blue's goalkeeper Isidoro Valentine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidoro Valentine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rhett Blue went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 16 minutes of play, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoro Valentine was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidoro Valentine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sonny Perkins went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DZ Blue's goalie prevented a goal. Francesco Marines didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ove Smedfeldt went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After 30 minutes, Jörn Pettersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DZ Blue and the Quetzal Flyers Hammers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes DZ Blue got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Pettersson. After some careless play in the DZ Blue defense, Sonny Perkins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Valentine. The DZ Blue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Valentine should have stopped the shot. Sonny Perkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to DZ Blue getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sigvard Kinell hit a great ball. Graham Jolicoeur kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sonny Perkins to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Perkins in the 51st minute of play forced DZ Blue's goalkeeper Isidoro Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Anibal Haritzeder almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine did a great save. If Sonny Perkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francesco Marines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Smedfeldt in the 60th minute of play. If Sonny Perkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, DZ Blue's goalkeeper Isidoro Valentine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rhett Blue. Rhett Blue made a great header on Quetzal Flyers Hammers's corner, it was just that DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 64th minute, Jakob Sjöö hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Rhett Blue had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidoro Valentine. DZ Blue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rhett Blue was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Isidoro Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Perkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Quetzal Flyers Hammers booed when DZ Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Koch didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Anibal Haritzeder broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sonny Perkins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Isidoro Valentine made a huge save. In the 74th minute Sonny Perkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sonny Perkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isidoro Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Perkins in the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Sonny Perkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidoro Valentine. DZ Blue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sonny Perkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. 83 minutes into the game, Sonny Perkins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Isidoro Valentine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Quetzal Flyers Hammers booed when DZ Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Smedfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Sigvard Kinell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes Quetzal Flyers Hammers got a freekick which was hit by Mark Noble. Francesco Marines didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ove Smedfeldt went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-8 was the resulting score. The DZ Blue fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Quetzal Flyers Hammers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
