Melchester Rovers were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after DZ Blue's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hans Svensson took the corner. Hans Svensson made a great header on Melchester Rovers's corner, it was just that DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine managed to reach the ball for a save. 22 minutes into the match, DZ Blue's Rudolf Almqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Odion Tao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mikael Meck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Meck in the 62nd minute of play. Isidoro Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Meck, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Daniel Hamnberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mårten Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Isidoro Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Meck, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Melchester Rovers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Melchester Rovers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
