Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kurt Brogren made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Josef Hammarström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Alrot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Kurt Brogren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasile Zamfira having to make a save. Vasile Zamfira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Brogren in the 9th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Kurt Brogren sped through Jokkmokk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vasile Zamfira. After 13 played minutes Jokkmokk got a freekick which was hit by Josef Hammarström. Jokkmokk's Vasile Zamfira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Jokkmokk from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Jokkmokk's Patrik Andersson got a free kick in the 18th minute. Niclas Vesterberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Kurt Brogren came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Mellbystrand IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Brogren couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Abersell got free with Vasile Zamfira in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kurt Brogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gottfrid Wästerberg hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Kurt Brogren might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vasile Zamfira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Brogren ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Brogren got free with Vasile Zamfira in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kurt Brogren might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vasile Zamfira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Brogren ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Kurt Brogren sped through Jokkmokk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vasile Zamfira. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josef Hammarström was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Jokkmokk getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gottfrid Wästerberg hit a great ball. Kurt Brogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Vasile Zamfira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Brogren in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasile Zamfira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kurt Brogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Brogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Jokkmokk getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gottfrid Wästerberg hit a great ball. Mellbystrand IK's Konrad Nordin got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mellbystrand IK made a substitution. Tom Riddle replaced Leif Ahlbeck. Edgar Abersell took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vasile Zamfira. Vasile Zamfira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jokkmokk's goalkeeper Vasile Zamfira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vasile Zamfira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Brogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Vasile Zamfira came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Mellbystrand IK's Edgar Abersell. But to his dismay, Edgar Abersell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Daniel Alrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Hammarström in the 82nd minute of play. Kurt Brogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Kurt Brogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Jokkmokk defense, Kurt Brogren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vasile Zamfira. The Jokkmokk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vasile Zamfira should have stopped the shot. Mellbystrand IK's Björn Ekström got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Alrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Hammarström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mellbystrand IK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
