Gottfrid Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fredrik Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Hägg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koppány Novák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Croti in the 67th minute of play forced Hawelka Himalayan High's goalkeeper Fredrik Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Hawelka Himalayan High's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Croti came free, but Fredrik Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bajenland's Wilhelm Alstedt was substituted for Jonathan Lindsten. Bajenland's Tony Lindell was substituted for Inge Boll. Kennedy Bryngelsson went to the cornerflag to take it. Ronny Örtendal made a great header on Bajenland's corner, it was just that Hawelka Himalayan High's Fredrik Bäckström managed to reach the ball for a save. The Bajenland supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bajenland would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
