Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Honu Ng started the match with the kick off. MAFFIAN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Börje Frisk in the 4th minute. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honu Ng in the 10th minute of the match. With a little luck, MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom got control of the ball when Lars Julin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Julin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honu Ng in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Dennis Edström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veselin Sveshtarov lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Åhus Absolut F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! A collision led to MAFFIAN getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Greger Broberg hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Stig Enegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Leo Ström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 44 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Alf Säfström. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Svensson made a kick off. Philip Hedin charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philip Hedin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Åhus Absolut F.C's Pelle Sikström was substituted for Luiz Fábio Catarinense. MAFFIAN's Östen Vennersten was substituted for Börje Frisk. In the 62ndth minute of the game George Svensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Coşkun Sehim notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jakob Browall was substituted for Honu Ng. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Folke Hökqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åhus Absolut F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Folke Hökqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Dahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Hökqvist came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Hökqvist in the 75th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Åhus Absolut F.C from getting a goal against them. Leo Ström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Lars Julin notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Folke Hökqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to MAFFIAN getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Dennis Edström hit a great ball. In the 90th minute George Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Juhlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. When Lars Julin came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Åhus Absolut F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Julin couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Åhus Absolut F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
