In the 20th minute, Bennvar Nickler made a precise shot to the right of Lennart Juhlin. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lennart Juhlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Nickler in the 37th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Hamilton Barcelos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Real Södertälje's Evelio Rico quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Saint Glenn Gothenburg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Södertälje were winning 0-1.

Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Lennart Juhlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Saint Glenn Gothenburg from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Ludwig Hägg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carsten Eckstein narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Birger Hedberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Juhlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, Real Södertälje's Nils-Åke Wickander made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lennart Juhlin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Nils-Åke Wickander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lennart Juhlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Lennart Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Wolff, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Saint Glenn Gothenburg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real Södertälje were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
