Henric Danielsson hit a great ball. In the 6th minute Mieszko Piechna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenny Lindgren got free with Sture Abrahamsson in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henning Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xande Solitario in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute Nytäppet Fc were awarded a corner. Radomir Gerlach went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Radomir Gerlach got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henning Sundberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Henning Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dušan Vlahović in the 16th minute of play. Dušan Vlahović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Lindgren in the 23rd minute of play. Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Nytäppet Fc from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xande Solitario in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henning Sundberg saved Galatasaray SK from getting behind. Xande Solitario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henning Sundberg having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Mikael Odeen got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute Dušan Vlahović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Sundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes, Mieszko Piechna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray SK and the Nytäppet Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37thth minute of the game Dušan Vlahović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray SK's Henning Sundberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Galatasaray SK were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Nytäppet Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olof Asplund took the corner. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xande Solitario to make the kick off. With a little luck, Galatasaray SK's Henning Sundberg got control of the ball when Jakob Högman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nytäppet Fc were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Galatasaray SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radomir Gerlach took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Dave Lombardo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 58 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Henning Sundberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xande Solitario. Ilias Markatos was slow to take the kick. During this time Nytäppet Fc's players had a chance to rest. In the 81st minute Mikael Odeen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Hedbom was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Nytäppet Fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dave Lombardo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Simon Åkerman scored 2-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sture Abrahamsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dušan Vlahović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Sundberg having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Galatasaray SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Sellberg to maneuver through the defense. Henning Sundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilias Markatos in the 93rd minute of the match. Gunnar Drewitz hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Ilias Markatos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henning Sundberg. Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
