Mats Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Mendiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Schlurp IF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Hubert Pihl hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Schlurp IF's goalkeeper Mats Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Odysseas Kondilis. Schlurp IF's Mats Lindgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Schlurp IF from getting a goal against them. Lennart Johansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Vinström, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Schlurp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Mendiko came free, but Mats Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Jorge Mendiko could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Mats Lindgren however easily saved by the left post. Mats Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Mendiko in the 29th minute. Robin Fransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennart Johansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Vinström in the 34th minute of play forced Lilla Jordberga BK's goalkeeper Lennart Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Wennerquist in the 37th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Schlurp IF's Robin Fransson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lennart Johansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Odysseas Kondilis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mats Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Aguilar in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Jorge Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Bo Wennerquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schlurp IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo Wennerquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Johansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 62 minutes, Hubert Pihl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schlurp IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert Pihl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Schlurp IF's Mats Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mendiko in the 65th minute of play. Mats Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Mendiko in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Bo Wennerquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Schlurp IF's Bo Wennerquist got a free kick in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Roque Aguilar notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Schlurp IF's Mats Lindgren. Mats Lindgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roque Aguilar took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mats Lindgren. Mats Lindgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Jorge Mendiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Lilla Jordberga BK's Ignacio Dios got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
