But to his dismay, Edvard Martinsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Östra Frölunda's Kennet Bolander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Svante Fristedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joakim Fagerberg's late challenge caught a Bispmotala BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Bispmotala BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Östra Frölunda were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
