Bispmotala BK's Svante Fristedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Badanowski in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Bispmotala BK's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Badanowski came free, but Svante Fristedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvid Carlsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Svante Fristedt made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marbjörn Garpsson got free with Svante Fristedt in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Andrzej Badanowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Svante Fristedt was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bispmotala BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Linköpings AIK.
