The audience was convinced that Glenn Raeijmaeckers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Tillman was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, FC Mackan United's goalkeeper Patrik Tillman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesper Burman. In the 16th minute Glenn Raeijmaeckers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Tillman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Dahlberg came free, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Glenn Raeijmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes FC Mackan United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Konrad Gustafsson who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sebastian Dahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Mackan United's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Dahlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mike Cassar Torreggiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Dahlberg in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mike Cassar Torreggiani saved Blåvitt from getting behind. With a little luck, FC Mackan United's Patrik Tillman got control of the ball when Glenn Raeijmaeckers tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Blåvitt defense, Sebastian Dahlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mike Cassar Torreggiani. The Blåvitt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mike Cassar Torreggiani should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Glenn Raeijmaeckers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Dahlberg in the 39th minute of play forced Blåvitt's goalkeeper Mike Cassar Torreggiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blåvitt's Glenn Raeijmaeckers got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Blåvitt's Glenn Raeijmaeckers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrik Tillman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teobald Sochacki hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 61st minute, Gösta Lundberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Tillman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glenn Raeijmaeckers in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Tillman saved FC Mackan United from getting behind. In the 68th minute Glenn Raeijmaeckers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Tillman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 74 in the game by Sebastian Dahlberg from a close distance when the talented Mike Cassar Torreggiani managed to make a qualified save. Blåvitt's players were relieved. Osvald Borre's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mike Cassar Torreggiani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvald Borre in the 78th minute. FC Mackan United's Patrik Tillman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Johansson in the 82nd minute of play. After 84th play minutes Glenn Raeijmaeckers shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Patrik Tillman and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Raeijmaeckers in the 89th minute of play forced FC Mackan United's goalkeeper Patrik Tillman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Mike Cassar Torreggiani managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when FC Mackan United's Sebastian Dahlberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
