Thanks to some nice moves Guo Gang Yan could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Folke Björkdal however easily saved by the left post. After 10 minutes, Nazeer Mhlathe made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Wolverhampton's Folke Björkdal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens-Ola Boström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Koupepes in the 13th minute of play. Sotiris Koupepes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Ola Boström having to make a save. Jens-Ola Boström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sotiris Koupepes, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Jordan F1 91-05's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Koupepes came free, but Jens-Ola Boström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Wolverhampton booed when Jordan F1 91-05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Bäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ola Boström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotiris Koupepes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jordan F1 91-05's Philip Grönberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Klas Ingesson in the 37 minute of the game. Nazeer Mhlathe might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Folke Björkdal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nazeer Mhlathe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute of the match, Nazeer Mhlathe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Folke Björkdal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Patrik Lingren hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Guo Gang Yan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guo Gang Yan to strike the kick off in the second half. Sotiris Koupepes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Jens-Ola Boström made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Patrik Lingren put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jens-Ola Boström. 57 minutes into the match, Guo Gang Yan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Folke Björkdal. Wolverhampton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guo Gang Yan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Wolverhampton's Sven-Ove Askestät was substituted for Patrik Lingren. After a defensive mix-up in Jordan F1 91-05's zone, Sven-Ove Askestät stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ola Boström came out of the goal and Sven-Ove Askestät tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 minutes, Philip Grönberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jordan F1 91-05 and the Wolverhampton players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Philip Grönberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sotiris Koupepes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Ola Boström having to make a save. With a little luck, Jordan F1 91-05's Jens-Ola Boström got control of the ball when Sotiris Koupepes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jordan F1 91-05's Jens-Ola Boström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotiris Koupepes in the 70th minute of play. When Sotiris Koupepes came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Wolverhampton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotiris Koupepes couldn't finish the play. Jordan F1 91-05's Szczepan Szablewski was substituted for Leif Harman. After 77 minutes Jordan F1 91-05's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Librado Pamperin who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Guillermo Granäng to score against Jens-Ola Boström in Jordan F1 91-05's goal. 2-2 after 77 minutes. Jens-Ola Boström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sotiris Koupepes went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After having played for 83 minutes, Sotiris Koupepes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolverhampton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sotiris Koupepes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guo Gang Yan in the 85th minute of play forced Wolverhampton's goalkeeper Folke Björkdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folke Björkdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazeer Mhlathe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guo Gang Yan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
