The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Cuevas. Orreboy Royals's Gordon Banke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Tunström in the 19th minute of play. Gordon Banke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Stenberg in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Cuevas in the 25th minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell Arvidsson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Gordon Banke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 27th minute of the match. When Rönnöfors FF's Per Tunström in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orreboy Royals's goalie prevented a goal. It was a well-played corner which Olimpiu Mirciulescu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Orreboy Royals's Gordon Banke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Tunström in the 31st minute of play. Gordon Banke came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Rönnöfors FF's Per Tunström. But to his dismay, Per Tunström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when Orreboy Royals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Wenerdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 52 minutes, Eliézer Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orreboy Royals's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliézer Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Cuevas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gordon Banke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 58th minute of the match. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Törnqvist in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Fagerberg in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gordon Banke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gordon Banke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Orreboy Royals's goalkeeper Gordon Banke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Tunström. 71 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Wenerdahl came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Björkdahl. Rönnöfors FF's Sigvard Biörnberg was substituted for Olimpiu Mirciulescu. In the 73rd match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Björkdahl to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Sampaio in the 74th minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Wenerdahl came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Wenerdahl in the 79th minute of play. Orreboy Royals's Johannes Caspersson was substituted for Rasmus Hegg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Tunström got free with Gordon Banke in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Eliézer Sampaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magne Gunnarsson was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliézer Sampaio in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magne Gunnarsson saved Rönnöfors FF from getting behind. Rönnöfors FF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
