The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. No Gravity FC's Mikael Sjöberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save No Gravity FC from getting a goal against them. Kasper Johnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kasper Johnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Empo FF's Kasper Johnsson got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Harry Andersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesare Varglien was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. No Gravity FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Spike Delamore scored to the left of an out of position Mikael Sjöberg, making the score, 1-1. Mikael Sjöberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tota Totti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isac Mellbad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Mikael Sjöberg made a huge save. In the 26th minute, Harry Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Leoncio got free with Mikael Sjöberg in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Empo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Andersson came free, but Cesare Varglien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Sjöberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remigio Leoncio went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Empo FF's Remigio Leoncio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Remigio Leoncio sped through No Gravity FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mikael Sjöberg. Robert Ljungberg hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes, Einar Uggla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the No Gravity FC and the Empo FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Einar Uggla hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Kasper Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Mikael Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, No Gravity FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Leoncio came free, but Mikael Sjöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 played minutes No Gravity FC got a freekick which was hit by Einar Uggla. When Jim Tinglöf fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored No Gravity FC's protests and gave Jim Tinglöf a yellow card for diving instead. When Tota Totti came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Empo FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tota Totti couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Tota Totti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikael Sjöberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 77th minute, Remigio Leoncio made a precise shot to the right of Mikael Sjöberg. No Gravity FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. In the 81st minute Remigio Leoncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesare Varglien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Tinglöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Isac Mellbad struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Mikael Sjöberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empo FF. 90 minutes into the game, Empo FF's Tota Totti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikael Sjöberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Leoncio in the 96th minute of play forced No Gravity FC's goalkeeper Mikael Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Empo FF had played much better football throughout.
