Georg Moberg started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Black is Back got a corner. Empo FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gugu Goiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ciro Gava heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience was convinced that Georg Moberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesare Varglien was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Empo FF's Cesare Varglien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Gava in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Black is Back were awarded a corner. Gugu Goiano went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Gugu Goiano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cesare Varglien quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Black is Back's Peter Svanberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tota Totti in the 22nd minute of play. Folke Stålman kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Gugu Goiano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesare Varglien showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Empo FF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tota Totti hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Ciro Gava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Varglien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Gabrielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Black is Back were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Empo FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gugu Goiano took the corner. Black is Back's Gugu Goiano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cesare Varglien in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 38 minutes in the game, Tota Totti fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Peter Svanberg having to interfere. If Remigio Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Ciro Gava hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Tota Totti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Svanberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ciro Gava sped through Empo FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cesare Varglien. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Gugu Goiano hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Leoncio in the 62nd minute of play forced Black is Back's goalkeeper Peter Svanberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Leoncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Black is Back's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Leoncio came free, but Peter Svanberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Gabrielsson hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ciro Gava managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black is Back's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Gava was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesare Varglien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Georg Moberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Empo FF's Cesare Varglien got control of the ball when Georg Moberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Empo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Gava came free, but Cesare Varglien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Black is Back getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Gugu Goiano hit a great ball. Cesare Varglien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Gava in the 86th minute. Cesare Varglien made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Ciro Gava sent off a good shot on target. After 90 played minutes Black is Back got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Goiano. After a defensive mix-up in Black is Back's zone, Tota Totti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Svanberg came out of the goal and Tota Totti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Empo FF manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Black is Back to win.
