The throw-in from Kenny Fulton in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ulan Bator Football Club's Albert De Roover. In the 4th match minute, Glasgow Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Connor to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ulan Bator Football Club's Erwin Tobbackers tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the game, Ulan Bator Football Club's Erwin Tobbackers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur Barns made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arthur Barns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jérémy Doku in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Roy Debrouwere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Glasgow Rangers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erwin Tobbackers was slow to take the kick. During this time Ulan Bator Football Club's players had a chance to rest. In the 17th match minute, Ulan Bator Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Smidts to maneuver through the defense. Jérémy Doku might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arthur Barns. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jérémy Doku ran back to his position shaking his head. Arthur Barns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jérémy Doku in the 25th minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Ulan Bator Football Club's Stephan Vanneste made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arthur Barns was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jérémy Doku blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur Barns having to make a save. In the 40th minute Gregor Menzies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ball Packert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Ulan Bator Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert De Roover to maneuver through the defense. Jérémy Doku blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur Barns having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barry Gilbert to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Ulan Bator Football Club's Jérémy Doku ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arthur Barns. Arthur Barns yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Arthur Barns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jérémy Doku in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Ulan Bator Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alain Vandam to maneuver through the defense. Jérémy Doku took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arthur Barns. Arthur Barns dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Arthur Barns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jérémy Doku in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Arthur Barns had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stephan Vanneste. Jérémy Dokus short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Arthur Barns to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 74th minute, Willy Smidts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes Ulan Bator Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Albert De Roover. After 77 played minutes, Glasgow Rangers FC's Lloyd McHutcheon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ball Packert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glasgow Rangers FC reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Bean during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Glasgow Rangers FC's Tommy Bean got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Arthur Barns, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Ulan Bator Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Ulan Bator Football Club's Jérémy Doku looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ulan Bator Football Club made a substitution. Toon Teunens replaced Jérémy Doku. Tommy Bean was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 87th match minute, Glasgow Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Bean to maneuver through the defense. Toon Teunens took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arthur Barns. Arthur Barns dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. A collision led to Glasgow Rangers FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gregor Menzies hit a great ball. Ulan Bator Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erwin Tobbackers in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Erwin Tobbackers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Arthur Barns was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded Ulan Bator Football Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Glasgow Rangers FC.
