A collision led to cavine-- f.c. getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Eliseu Paraense hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in JupiterGT's zone, Perivaldo Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Lago came out of the goal and Perivaldo Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laércio Mazza got free with Cláudio Gomes in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laércio Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Cláudio Gomes made a huge save. Cláudio Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Cláudio Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13thth minute of the game Falcão Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but cavine-- f.c.'s Cláudio Gomes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinei Godoi got free with Cláudio Gomes in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Laércio Mazza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Gomes was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. cavine-- f.c.'s Cláudio Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Pontes in the 18th minute of play. Laércio Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Cláudio Gomes made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, cavine-- f.c.'s goalkeeper Cláudio Gomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laércio Mazza. The supporters of cavine-- f.c. booed when JupiterGT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Augusto Gaúcho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adriano Lago. JupiterGT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cláudio Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Godoi in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, JupiterGT's Laércio Mazza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cláudio Gomes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 46th match minute, JupiterGT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Santos to maneuver through the defense.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Perivaldo Messias made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, cavine-- f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Mazza came free, but Cláudio Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that JupiterGT were the better team. JupiterGT's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
