Vicente Santana started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when López Heredia came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by López Heredia in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by López Heredia. The audience thought a goal was coming when López Heredia got free with Hugo Orlando Gatti in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Teodelina FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristinel Buzoianu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 23 minutes Consejo del Mate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luca Savinov who took care of the corner kick. Luca Savinov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Orlando Gatti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Hugo Orlando Gatti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but López Heredia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 38th minute, Hernan Quinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from López Heredia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bolo Bolaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franko Armani having to interfere. López Heredia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to make a save. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when López Heredia sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Honorato Zambujal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Orlando Gatti was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and López Heredia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. López Heredia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The audience was convinced that Bolo Bolaño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franko Armani was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling López Heredia in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Orlando Gatti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 64 minutes, López Heredia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teodelina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but López Heredia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodelina FC made a substitution. Silvano Baladi replaced López Heredia. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Teodelina FC's Silvano Baladi. But to his dismay, Silvano Baladi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Baladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Silvano Baladi scored 4-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Baladi came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Silvano Baladi notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Baladi in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Orlando Gatti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97thth minute of the game Silvano Baladi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Consejo del Mate players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Teodelina FC.
