In the 16th minute, Elpidio Francis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmacio Pello was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tello AFC's goalie and right to Bonifacio Suarez. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tello AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Uriel Cordearo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Branislav Velchevski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 32 minutes into the match, Elpidio Francis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmacio Pello. Tello AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Francis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tello AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Pello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dalmacio Pello made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Elpidio Francis sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th match minute, Tello AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Smart to maneuver through the defense. Markus Smart kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Nofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Dalmacio Pello was a little too slow when Arnaldo Gabon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-5. Hong Yi Yang's late challenge caught a ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hong Yi Yang helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Tello AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hong Yi Yang to maneuver through the defense. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Elpidio Francis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
