The Soroca F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 16th minute of play forced Imperio Académico's goalkeeper Adrian Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Clis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute Ismael Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitaliy Vischak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ismael Jerrold's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitaliy Vischak was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Vitaliy Vischak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Vidal's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Adrian Clis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 39th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Imperio Académico's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Atarrabi came free, but Adrian Clis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Soroca F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrián Espadas was the one to do the kick off. Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adrian Clis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adrián Espadas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Adrian Clis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 61 minutes into the game, Adrián Espadas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Adrian Clis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Imperio Académico made a substitution. Emilio Sugoi replaced Marcelino Quexal. 67 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Jerrold came free, but Vitaliy Vischak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Imperio Académico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zézinho Neiva was slow to take the kick. During this time Soroca F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 73 minutes into the game, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Clis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 77 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Amador Igon came free, but Vitaliy Vischak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Clis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jesus Quiroga's late challenge caught a Soroca F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Quiroga helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Imperio Académico got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Quiroga. In the 90th match minute, Imperio Académico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Louis to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Răzvan Necula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Clis. Imperio Académico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Răzvan Necula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The Imperio Académico supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Soroca F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Soroca F.C..
