Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Los Muchachos del 86 from getting a goal against them. Consejo del Mate's Vicente Pernia managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Erubiel Txaran in the 19 minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Atahan Balon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Bolo Bolaño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atahan Balon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Ricardo-Enrique Bochini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Peruanton hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Atahan Balon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bolo Bolaño. If Bolo Bolaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bolo Bolaño struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Atahan Balon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Consejo del Mate. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Santana to strike the kick off in the second half. Bolo Bolaño might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atahan Balon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bolo Bolaño ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute Bolo Bolaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Balon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Consejo del Mate were awarded a corner. Cayetano Sagrario went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Consejo del Mate's Cayetano Sagrario to fire away a dangerous shot which Atahan Balon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Atahan Balon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Cordero to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bolo Bolaño in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atahan Balon saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. Consejo del Mate's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
