After 7 minutes of play, AIF's Emanuel Månsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vito Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erik Odin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Alfred Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot. AIF's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Sandström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, Jacinto Rosio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Olov Linquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, Liberland's Saturnino Abeitia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olov Linquist. Olov Linquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.
The wind increased when Alfred Sandström made the kick off in the second half. Alfred Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. AIF's Olov Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Rosio in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Liberland defense, Alfred Sandström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vito Rezende. The Liberland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vito Rezende should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, AIF's Mark Forsberg got a free kick in the 67th minute. Vito Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Linquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Rosio in the 76th minute of play. Emanuel Månsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vito Rezende came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuel Månsson slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 79th minute. Vito Rezende was a little too slow when Emanuel Månsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 3-5. 84 minutes into the match, Liberland's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Sandström came free, but Vito Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AIF booed when Liberland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Ixaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Venancio Ascencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Linquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AIF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
