Atahan Balon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chen Ao Fan's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Håkan Kruse hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chen Ao Fan to strike the kick off in the second half. Chen Ao Fan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atahan Balon having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Ao Fan came free, but Atahan Balon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chen Ao Fan in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atahan Balon saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 77th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Muchachos del 86's Fabio Bencivenni was substituted for Ricardo-Enrique Bochini. The corner led Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan to fire away a dangerous shot which Atahan Balon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
