Karl-Erik Norström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Karl-Erik Norström managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Lobos de Carelia's Zeca Fernandez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rd minute of the match, Zeca Fernandez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl-Erik Norström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Efraim in the 26th minute of play. Karl-Erik Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Inguma in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Inguma came free, but Karl-Erik Norström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Gabriel Efraim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Erik Norström. Gabriel Efraim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Karl-Erik Norström made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Prospero Inguma sent off a good shot on target. If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström got control of the ball when Zeca Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Gabriel Efraim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl-Erik Norström, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Efraim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Efraim in the 52nd minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chen Ao Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Ipar having to interfere. If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Feliberto Ipar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lobos de Carelia had won after a very even match.
