An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 7th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Feliberto Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Ipar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervásio Severiano went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Virgílio Sá got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute Luís Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervásio Severiano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Feliberto Ipar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Efraim made a kick off. After 51 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim de Barros. 54 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Gervásio Severiano came free, but Feliberto Ipar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VB-Team's Baltasar Matias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save VB-Team from getting a goal against them. Shao Kun Yuan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. VB-Team made a substitution. Luís Caeiro replaced Joaquim de Barros. Zeca Fernandez scored 2-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Matias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute of the match Lobos de Carelia got a corner. VB-Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adolfo Gombal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Caeiro in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliberto Ipar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute Gervásio Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Ipar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The VB-Team fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when VB-Team's Gervásio Severiano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Prospero Inguma hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Luís Caeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliberto Ipar was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After 93 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Guerra. VB-Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
