In the 17th minute, Edries Kanku left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victory Beasts fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Wesley Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Papi Mkhonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradley Kanku, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Erasmo Vianna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Papi Mkhonza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Papi Mkhonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Victory Beasts's Ebrahim Mokatimi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaldo Vinhas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 37 played minutes HERCILIO FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Breckenfeld. 38 minutes into the match, Victory Beasts's Sibongile Makweni broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Wesley Corrêa fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HERCILIO FC's protests and gave Wesley Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. Wesley Corrêa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. During the 45th minute of the match Wesley Corrêa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wesley Corrêa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 45th match minute, HERCILIO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. If Edries Kanku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Vianna in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Papi Mkhonza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reinaldo Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ebrahim Mokatimi in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Tiago Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victory Beasts's Papi Mkhonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Vianna in the 72nd minute of play. If Erasmo Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes, Erasmo Vianna made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Victory Beasts's Papi Mkhonza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 82 minutes, Bradley Kanku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Victory Beasts's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradley Kanku was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reinaldo Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley Kanku in the 88th minute of the match. Victory Beasts's Bradley Kanku got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bradley Kanku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denílson Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, HERCILIO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Kanku came free, but Reinaldo Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
