Froila Ceraso kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Victory Beasts got a freekick which was hit by Mthunzi Mbheki. Froila Ceraso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Papi Mkhonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gordon Tshabalala's late challenge caught a Dique's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gordon Tshabalala helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dique booed when Victory Beasts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gordon Tshabalala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dique's Leon Guia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edries Kanku in the 22nd minute of play. Papi Mkhonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garcia Aumada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Victory Beasts fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Victory Beasts's Edries Kanku looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Allan Takalani fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Victory Beasts's protests and gave Allan Takalani a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Allan Takalani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When %teams%'s Garcia Aumada was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-1 just inside the left pole, 38 minutes into the game. Papi Mkhonza was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Arraiz in the 43rd minute of play forced Victory Beasts's goalkeeper Papi Mkhonza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alfredo Arraiz made the kick off in the second half. Mthunzi Mbheki hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute, Gomez Ziarza sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Victory Beasts's Papi Mkhonza didn't even have to move. After having played for 54 minutes, Alfredo Arraiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dique's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Arraiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edries Kanku got free with Leon Guia in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Garcia Aumada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Victory Beasts's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Arraiz came free, but Papi Mkhonza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Bradley Kanku managed to get in a good position for a shot. Victory Beasts's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradley Kanku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Guia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Victory Beasts's zone, Alfredo Arraiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Papi Mkhonza came out of the goal and Alfredo Arraiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Timeteo Igay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bradley Kanku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Guia having to interfere. Dique's Leon Guia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Dique from getting a goal against them. Victory Beasts's Gordon Tshabalala got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Gordon Tshabalala off the ground. After 85 played minutes Victory Beasts got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Tshabalala. Edries Kanku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garcia Aumada in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Papi Mkhonza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victory Beasts's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
