In the 13th match minute, Real Astoria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Dracena to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Orhan Geylanoğullarından sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Real Astoria FC's Hílton Pinho didn't even have to move. In the 18thth minute of the game Carlos Mattos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eskihisar's Galip Savtuna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Baltazar Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Astoria FC's protests and gave Baltazar Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. Toninho Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Galip Savtuna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Real Astoria FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. In the 39th minute Toninho Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galip Savtuna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hílton Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yiğit Can Saylan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuratay Yavuzer's late challenge caught a Real Astoria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuratay Yavuzer helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Eskihisar got a freekick which was hit by Nuratay Yavuzer. 46 minutes into the match, Toninho Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Galip Savtuna. Eskihisar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toninho Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half Real Astoria FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Toninho Mangueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Galip Savtuna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toninho Mangueira got free with Galip Savtuna in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Necip Kayrak in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hílton Pinho saved Real Astoria FC from getting behind. With his leg Galip Savtuna managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Real Astoria FC's Toninho Mangueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bülent Keçili blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hílton Pinho having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Eskihisar's zone, Toninho Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Galip Savtuna came out of the goal and Toninho Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Galip Savtuna successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Galip Savtuna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho Mangueira in the 88th minute. Toninho Mangueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Galip Savtuna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toninho Mangueira ran back to his position shaking his head. If Carlos Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Astoria FC's Hílton Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yiğit Can Saylan in the 95th minute of play.
