Melchor Oihan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Arraiz in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Oihan saved Santamarina from getting behind. Melchor Oihan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garcia Aumada in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano Salbatore in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Guia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximiliano Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Guia having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garcia Aumada during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Garcia Aumada hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Alfredo Arraiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dique fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Leon Guia made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Claudio Misael sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Ihintza Abin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute of the match Fabio Vellito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Guia skillfully saved the ball. After 42 played minutes Dique got a freekick which was hit by Conrao Madera. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Arraiz was the one to do the kick off. When Rolado Asensio came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Dique fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolado Asensio couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute, Garcia Aumada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melchor Oihan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Leon Guia came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Santamarina's Maximiliano Salbatore. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Salbatore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 61st minute Maximiliano Salbatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Guia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchor Oihan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Arraiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Arraiz in the 64th minute of play forced Santamarina's goalkeeper Melchor Oihan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Santamarina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Serafo to maneuver through the defense. Leon Guia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Salbatore in the 68th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, Froila Ceraso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dique and the Santamarina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Dique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froila Ceraso to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santamarina. When the match had been going on for 82 minutes, Dique's Gomez Ziarza got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Melchor Oihan. Santamarina's Melchor Oihan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Santamarina from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute Alfredo Arraiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Oihan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garcia Aumada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Melchor Oihan made a huge save. The Santamarina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dique's performance. The match ended with a win for Dique.
