FC Geitenkamp's Dedé Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Svartengren in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Musacchio in the 9th minute of play forced FC Geitenkamp's goalkeeper Dedé Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Geitenkamp's Jaap van Dinteren got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Jörn Svartengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dedé Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Svartengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Dedé Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Svartengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frits Randag got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gijs Roorda. Dedé Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Svartengren in the 19th minute of play. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jörn Svartengren sped through FC Geitenkamp's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dedé Magalhães. A collision led to FC Geitenkamp getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Frits Randag hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Salvador Musacchio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Guayaquil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Musacchio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jörn Svartengren took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dedé Magalhães. Dedé Magalhães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 38 minutes into the game, Jörn Svartengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Dedé Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Geitenkamp's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute, Jörn Svartengren made a precise shot to the right of Dedé Magalhães. FC Geitenkamp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Dedé Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Svartengren in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, FC Geitenkamp's goalkeeper Dedé Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Svartengren. After some careless play in the FC Geitenkamp defense, Jörn Svartengren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dedé Magalhães. The FC Geitenkamp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dedé Magalhães should have stopped the shot. Jörn Svartengren might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dedé Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörn Svartengren ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, FC Geitenkamp's Dedé Magalhães got control of the ball when Jörn Svartengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörn Svartengren in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedé Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59thth minute of the game Jörn Svartengren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Geitenkamp's Dedé Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Inter de Guayaquil FC made a substitution. Éric Cantona replaced Jörn Svartengren. Frits Randag got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alessio De Sanctis. With a little luck, FC Geitenkamp's Dedé Magalhães got control of the ball when Jakub Ziombkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Dedé Magalhães managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Inter de Guayaquil FC's Éric Cantona fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Geitenkamp's Dedé Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éric Cantona in the 67th minute of play. Jakub Ziombkowski scored 0-8 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dedé Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dedé Magalhães was a little too slow when Jakub Ziombkowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-9. 75 minutes into the match, Éric Cantona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dedé Magalhães. FC Geitenkamp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Éric Cantona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Dedé Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Jakub Ziombkowski sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Dedé Magalhães successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dedé Magalhães was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Éric Cantona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Éric Cantona really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. Dedé Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Salvador Musacchio sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Éric Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakub Ziombkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Éric Cantona took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Dedé Magalhães to make any attempt to save it. Jakub Ziombkowski scored 0-13 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dedé Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Geitenkamp fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inter de Guayaquil FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
