PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Vito Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Moreno in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, PEÇONHENTO FC MG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Well-Well p'Bitek to maneuver through the defense. Robert Macaneață recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Percy Sarmento made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by F.Salgado F.C.'s Pitin Sánchez. Percy Sarmento made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dobrašin Nevin however managed to control. Matt Ryan was a little too slow when Agnaldo Lopes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agnaldo Lopes in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matt Ryan saved F.Salgado F.C. from getting behind. In the 35th minute PEÇONHENTO FC MG were awarded a corner. Luan Silva went to the cornerflag to take it. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Agnaldo Lopes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Matt Ryan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, F.Salgado F.C.'s Matt Ryan got control of the ball when Agnaldo Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Vito Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Moreno in the 46th minute of play. After 47 played minutes PEÇONHENTO FC MG got a freekick which was hit by Rob Halford. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Moreno was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to PEÇONHENTO FC MG getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Tony de Lima hit a great ball. Vito Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Macaneață in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Luan Silva got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Moreno in the 62nd minute of play forced PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goalkeeper Vito Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pitin Sánchez got free with Vito Furlan in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goalkeeper Vito Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodoro Moreno was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. F.Salgado F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 79 minutes into the match, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goalkeeper Vito Furlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Moreno. Oscar Laguna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Moreno came free, but Vito Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vito Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Moreno in the 90th minute of the match. Agnaldo Lopes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Many of F.Salgado F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. F.Salgado F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but PEÇONHENTO FC MG were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
