Jairo Morientes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Martins in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Elivareo Novo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hispania's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ubatuba the free kick. A collision led to Hispania getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Elivareo Novo hit a great ball. In the 14th minute of the match Franklin Martins sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Morientes skillfully saved the ball. After 15 played minutes Ubatuba got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Martins. In the 16th minute of the match Lamberto Bergada sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Sergipano skillfully saved the ball. In the 17th minute, Cordero Sánchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Morientes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Cordero Sánchez hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zuberoa Gomar during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zuberoa Gomar kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Hispania's Jairo Morientes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Hispania from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute of the match, Tostão Veloso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Morientes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 30th match minute, Hispania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Cuervas to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Martins to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ubatuba getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Delfim Dante hit a great ball. Cordero Sánchez kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The Hispania fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Hispania's Cordero Sánchez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Franklin Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Hispania were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tostão Veloso to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Hispania's Elivareo Novo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexandre Sergipano. That made the score 0-2 after 56 minutes of play. A hard shot 60 in the game by Cordero Sánchez from a close distance when the talented Alexandre Sergipano managed to make a qualified save. Ubatuba's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Hispania's Felip Contratas got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Tostão Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Cuervas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Franklin Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Hispania's Cordero Sánchez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexandre Sergipano. Alexandre Sergipano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Sidney Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Morientes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Miguel Cruz scored 1-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Morientes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jairo Morientes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Hispania players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
