After 9 minutes, Ildefonso Demario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ★⭐★ C.A МαlνᎥηαՏ 〓 ★⭐★ and the Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ildefonso Demario kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ★⭐★ C.A МαlνᎥηαՏ 〓 ★⭐★'s zone, Kléber Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Abella came out of the goal and Kléber Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A nice corner shot did that Kléber Andrade got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Javier Abella quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ramón Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Tiadoro in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, ★⭐★ C.A МαlνᎥηαՏ 〓 ★⭐★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Brehme to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Tiadoro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ramón Leão 18 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Roberto Estévez managed to get in a good position for a shot. ★⭐★ C.A МαlνᎥηαՏ 〓 ★⭐★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Estévez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramón Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Javier Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind ★⭐★ C.A МαlνᎥηαՏ 〓 ★⭐★'s goalkeeper Javier Abella, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26thth minute of the game Sebastião Koehler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ★⭐★ C.A МαlνᎥηαՏ 〓 ★⭐★'s Javier Abella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramón Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Estévez in the 29th minute of play. A hard shot 32 in the game by Gualterio Tiadoro from a close distance when the talented Ramón Leão managed to make a qualified save. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's players were relieved. If Tiaguinho Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Javier Abella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Koehler in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastião Koehler to strike the kick off in the second half. Kléber Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Abella having to interfere. Victoriano Bidari's late challenge caught a Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoriano Bidari helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo do Nascimento. Ramón Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Carballo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Róbson Simões hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Gualterio Tiadoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Tiadoro in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramón Leão saved Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ from getting behind.
