The excitement rose when Cervezanegra A.C.'s Marco Jax after 7 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Nova Soccer's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-1. Santio Ibañez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santio Ibañez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Jax in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Fernandes in the 37th minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Santio Ibañez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nova Soccer getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Obeko Lazaeta hit a great ball. Marco Jax missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 41 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Santio Ibañez right hand side. After the first half Cervezanegra A.C. were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Jax was the one to do the kick off. The Cervezanegra A.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. Nova Soccer's Santio Ibañez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Nova Soccer from getting a goal against them. Cervezanegra A.C. played a much better game than Nova Soccer and deserved their victory. The Nova Soccer players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
