After recieving a nice pass, Black Knights FC's Graham Leon tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute Humberto Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Pack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Humberto Fonseca in the 9th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 14 minutes into the game, Antoine Burrell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adelino Coelho. Antoine Burrell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 16 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Prates. 20 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's Norbert Mathews sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adelino Coelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Salvador Pack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Fonseca in the 21st minute of play. Graham Leon hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Black Knights FC's Salvador Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Fonseca in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Black Knights FC's Graham Leon got a free kick in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Prates came free, but Salvador Pack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Pack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Osório in the 34th minute of the match. Mateus Prates took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salvador Pack. Salvador Pack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Fonseca made a kick off. Glen Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Ricardo Vasques got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Black Knights FC's Graham Leon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adelino Coelho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adelino Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antoine Burrell's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Salvador Pack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Prates in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Barry Drummond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Fonseca in the 64th minute of play forced Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Salvador Pack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Pack stood somewhat misplaced when Humberto Fonseca came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 64 minute. In the 67th minute, Sabino Setúbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoine Burrell took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adelino Coelho. Adelino Coelho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Vasques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Ferguson's late challenge caught a SC Braga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Ferguson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Braga booed when Black Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Ferguson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Humberto Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Pack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Pack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Fonseca in the 88th minute of play. Black Knights FC's Salvador Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Bettencourt in the 89th minute of play. Black Knights FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SC Braga had controlled the match.
