The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salvador Pack showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brothers of Mercy were furious when Torgny Biörnberg was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Black Knights FC's Graham Leon got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Harry Vedholm. 39 minutes into the match, Antoine Burrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harry Vedholm. Brothers of Mercy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antoine Burrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Brothers of Mercy's Allan Bark got a free kick in the 45th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Åke Täman was the one to do the kick off. Birger Ekelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
