After a defensive mix-up in U Alcaravaneras's zone, Geir Høyem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paco Perez came out of the goal and Geir Høyem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geir Høyem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paco Perez having to interfere. U Alcaravaneras's Paco Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save U Alcaravaneras from getting a goal against them. Geir Høyem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bjørn Mæhlum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paco Perez having to make a save. Geir Høyem struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Paco Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saga TF. The supporters of U Alcaravaneras booed when Saga TF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geir Høyem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steffen Møgster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Jorge in the 38th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bjørn Mæhlum stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to U Alcaravaneras getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Lobo Saboya hit a great ball. Sebastian Onarheim charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. U Alcaravaneras's Paco Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjørn Mæhlum in the 57th minute of play. Steffen Møgster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Jorge in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Emanuel Korsmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saga TF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U Alcaravaneras the free kick.
