Eliseu Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Cordarrel in the 7th minute of play. Teofilo Goyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Nascimento hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Inter de São Paulo's Eliseu Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Maxin in the 15th minute of play. Eliseu Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Maxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Liquid Spirit's Ramiro Geleberto got control of the ball when Léo Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute Cleto Maxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Maxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Melo having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Inter de São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Maxin came free, but Eliseu Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Maxin in the 38th minute of play forced Inter de São Paulo's goalkeeper Eliseu Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, Liquid Spirit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Cordarrel to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Carlos Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Inter de São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Maxin came free, but Eliseu Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, Cleto Maxin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eliseu Melo, 0-1. Eliseu Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Maxin in the 55th minute of play. Inter de São Paulo's Eliseu Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Maxin in the 57th minute of play. Danilo Bizi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Eliseu Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liquid Spirit. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fermin Chaime during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th play minute Danilo Bizi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eliseu Melo. 0-2. Inter de São Paulo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Cleto Maxin scored to the left of an out of position Eliseu Melo, making the score, 0-3. Eliseu Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Virila in the 88th minute of play.
