After a rather tough play, FC Philotimo's Teofilo Goicoolea got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Cleiton Palmeira struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Gavica Enderica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bezerros EC. Bezerros EC's Gabriel Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Teofilo Goicoolea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Philotimo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bezerros EC the free kick. A collision led to FC Philotimo getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Teofilo Goicoolea hit a great ball. Durval Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gavica Enderica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauro Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Lloret in the 10th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's Durval Trevisan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavica Enderica narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Lloret's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lauro Hoffmann was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Durval Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Lloret in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauro Hoffmann saved Bezerros EC from getting behind. Lauro Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Lloret, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gabriel Monteiro's late challenge caught a FC Philotimo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Mario Giner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavica Enderica acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luiz Quadros. When Durval Trevisan came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Bezerros EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durval Trevisan couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percy de Azevedo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Philotimo getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Zambrano Rabe hit a great ball.

Gustavo Lloret in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lauro Hoffmann, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bezerros EC's Lauro Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Lloret in the 73rd minute of play. After 76 played minutes Bezerros EC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Monteiro. 78 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Lauro Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Lloret. When Bezerros EC's Percy de Azevedo in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Philotimo's goalie prevented a goal. If Luís Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Gabriel Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bezerros EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Xavier Tarazona fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Philotimo's protests and gave Xavier Tarazona a yellow card for diving instead. Xavier Tarazona hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. FC Philotimo's Gavica Enderica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Trevisan in the 88th minute of play. Percy de Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavica Enderica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. FC Philotimo's Gustavo Lloret was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of FC Philotimo were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bezerros EC side.
