But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ximen Canal couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Herrero kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Universitario de deportes defense, Escobar Pablo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feijo Dobale. Federico Guijarro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s Bahadırhan Payidar got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berk Yumlu in the 32nd minute of play forced Universitario de deportes's goalkeeper Feijo Dobale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bahadırhan Payidar's late challenge caught a Universitario de deportes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bahadırhan Payidar helped the player get up and apologised. Pablo-Enrique Escobar tried in the 36th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Gökay Işıklar a with quite unnecessary self made goal. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Escobar Pablo sped through Universitario de deportes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feijo Dobale. Ximen Canal in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gökay Işıklar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eleazar Coello made a kick off. Feijo Dobale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Escobar Pablo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Brion Bermejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. During the 95th minute of the match Bahadırhan Payidar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bahadırhan Payidar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
