Sérgio Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Witold Januszewski went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The KANONIERZY fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when KANONIERZY's Witold Januszewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olaf Dobilas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the AM United defense, Witold Januszewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio Magalhães. The AM United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Magalhães should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, AM United's Sérgio Magalhães got control of the ball when Witold Januszewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to AM United getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Manuel Sales hit a great ball. Lisandro Oliveira's late challenge caught a KANONIERZY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised.

The wind increased when Witold Januszewski made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Sebastian Dziechciowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
