An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefano Ojeda in the 37th minute of play forced FC Kiepurowo's goalkeeper Dominik Pliszka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Deportivo Lirayén's Stefano Ojeda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dominik Pliszka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Remigiusz Kazimierz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. FC Kiepurowo's Dominik Pliszka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikel Azagra in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. When Fabian Tylinski came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FC Kiepurowo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Tylinski couldn't finish the play. Mikel Azagra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Deportivo Lirayén booed when FC Kiepurowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Poniewaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikel Azagra got free with Dominik Pliszka in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th match minute, Deportivo Lirayén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefano Ojeda to maneuver through the defense. The Deportivo Lirayén supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Lirayén would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
