With an all-out effort, SILMONT's Alex Pihl threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brendan Cardot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 7 minutes into the match, Per Wallgren notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SILMONT's Charlie Baque. Charlie Baque was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the game, Börna Bulldogs's Kasper Persson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charlie Baque made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 16 minutes into the game, Per Wallgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Charlie Baque was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Börna Bulldogs booed when SILMONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilien Houillon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börna Bulldogs's Per Wallgren got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcus Hök fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Baque having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Marcus Hök put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Charlie Baque. The audience was convinced that Mattias Bröms's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charlie Baque was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. SILMONT's Charlie Baque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Wennerberg in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Hök in the 40th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Charlie Baque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charlie Baque came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Börna Bulldogs's Marcus Hök. But to his dismay, Marcus Hök quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Charlie Baque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Wallgren in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Börna Bulldogs were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Marcus Hök made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to SILMONT getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Zinedine Blanchin hit a great ball. 54 minutes in the game Marcus Hök did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Börje Wennerberg. After having played for 56 minutes, Per Wallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Börna Bulldogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Wallgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per Wallgren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charlie Baque. SILMONT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Marcus Hök had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charlie Baque. SILMONT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Hök was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 65th match minute, SILMONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilles Patron to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Hök in the 66th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Charlie Baque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Hök could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Charlie Baque made a huge save. Charlie Baque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Hök, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, SILMONT's Charlie Baque got control of the ball when Per Wallgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Börna Bulldogs's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
