Arvid Hoem started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pincha FC's Julian Jon got a free kick in the 5th minute. A collision led to Pincha FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Nemesio Eneko hit a great ball. With a little luck, Pincha FC's Gervasio Bortzaioriz got control of the ball when Øystein Berstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rune Engeland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Francesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Pincha FC booed when mixednutz XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Moum didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Cirilo Francesco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rune Engeland showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as mixednutz XI's Øystein Berstad slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gervasio Bortzaioriz. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. Gervasio Bortzaioriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Øystein Berstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Øystein Berstad came free, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Øystein Berstad in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Bortzaioriz saved Pincha FC from getting behind. When Thorbjørn Breen fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored mixednutz XI's protests and gave Thorbjørn Breen a yellow card for diving instead. 42 minutes into the match, mixednutz XI's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Nel came free, but Rune Engeland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Gilberto Nel made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Cirilo Francesco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rune Engeland saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 53 played minutes mixednutz XI got a freekick which was hit by Thorbjørn Breen. In the 73rd minute, Christer Slyngstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 minutes, Lars Moum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the mixednutz XI and the Pincha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pincha FC's Gervasio Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Hoem in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, mixednutz XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikkel Brakstad to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, mixednutz XI's Rune Engeland got control of the ball when Gilberto Nel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gervasio Bortzaioriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Hoem in the 96th minute of the match. Pincha FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
