Arnout Labrouche scored 3-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bonifacio Sugoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Arnout Labrouche got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Brugge's Dave Goorts slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bonifacio Sugoi. That made the score 8-0 after 42 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Siro Basualdo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Guiñazú FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Luis Elorri hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnout Labrouche in the 54th minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Rouvroys hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Giles Valkeneers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Uhin in the 59th minute of the match. Giles Valkeneers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guiñazú FC's Bonifacio Sugoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilian Jannis in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute Dave Goorts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Sugoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, Club Brugge's Guilian Jannis made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bonifacio Sugoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Guiñazú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guilian Jannis came free, but Bonifacio Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Labrouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bonifacio Sugoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Siro Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giles Valkeneers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Brugge were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Guiñazú FC for a fine match.
