Gualterio Socorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tabossi getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Teofilo Celipe's late challenge caught a Nouvelle Vague's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Celipe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tabossi's Teofilo Celipe got a free kick in the 39th minute. Gualterio Abastas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Nouvelle Vague's Gualterio Abastas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristo Pagomari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half Nouvelle Vague were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gualterio Abastas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gualterio Abastas didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-2 via right post in the game's 52nd minute. Nouvelle Vague's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Nouvelle Vague's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
