After 41 minutes, Sebastian Hodyl made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. F.C. Sosnowiec's Jan Pazura tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Norbert Borowski kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Sebastian Hodyl might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Pazura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Hodyl ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boguslaw Jaszynski to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, F.C. Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Hodyl came free, but Jan Pazura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Galja Kraków's Konstanty Wojno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Pazura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Galja Kraków were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after F.C. Sosnowiec's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Sawicki took the corner. Sosnowiec's Walery Przybylo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 96th minute Boguslaw Jaszynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Bartochowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Galja Kraków fully deserved thier win.
