After 14 minutes of play, Buritama Sports's Lenílson Velloso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfons Levander was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Pontus Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfons Levander came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Buritama Sports's Sydney Rosa. But to his dismay, Sydney Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 27th minute, Simon Strand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfons Levander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diguinho Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Simões. Frédson Simões hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After the first half Buritama Sports were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With an all-out effort, Buritama Sports's Alfons Levander threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diguinho Velloso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Håkan Forsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Forsman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A collision led to Jonstorp FK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Simon Strand hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Frédson Simões sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfons Levander skillfully saved the ball. In the 73rd minute, Diguinho Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes, Lenílson Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buritama Sports and the Jonstorp FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenílson Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Pontus Holmberg hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mats Ström in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Paraense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Netto hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Tiaguinho Tavares notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Jonstorp FK's Alfons Levander. Alfons Levander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Buritama Sports's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
