Carlitos p'Bitek hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Sandaili Hijosa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of PERSPOLIS's Manolo Ucero. Manolo Ucero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Fohat Neyen's Madaleno Paniagua got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 14 minutes of play, Fohat Neyen's Carlitos p'Bitek made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manolo Ucero was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stuparu Fredager during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fohat Neyen's Stuparu Fredager got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Hitzeder Mouro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fohat Neyen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hitzeder Mouro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Curcio Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Madaleno Paniagua took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manolo Ucero. PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Fohat Neyen getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Stuparu Fredager hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Demesio Coira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 29thth minute of the game Genaro Segarra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fohat Neyen's Roger Alborja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Genaro Segarra put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Roger Alborja. Roger Alborja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Segarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Benat Castelao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the PERSPOLIS defense, Sandaili Hijosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manolo Ucero. The PERSPOLIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manolo Ucero should have stopped the shot. Fohat Neyen's Madaleno Paniagua was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manolo Ucero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 41 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Mazorra came free, but Manolo Ucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demesio Coira got free with Roger Alborja in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Fohat Neyen were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandaili Hijosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Millrick Barreneche kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Curcio Torres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roger Alborja. Fohat Neyen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Braulio Mazorra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fohat Neyen's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Mazorra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolo Ucero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xuaco Otero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Alborja having to interfere. When Braulio Mazorra came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Fohat Neyen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Mazorra couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Mazorra came free, but Manolo Ucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match, Sandaili Hijosa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manolo Ucero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fortun Dueñas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Genaro Segarra struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Roger Alborja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PERSPOLIS. Fohat Neyen's Sandaili Hijosa got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demesio Coira kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Fohat Neyen booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curcio Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Madaleno Paniagua in the 91st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Manolo Ucero's left hand side. Fohat Neyen's Sandaili Hijosa got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The PERSPOLIS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fohat Neyen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
