With a little luck, GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos got control of the ball when Marios Mostratos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Babbis Tsaousis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sérgio Passos. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Konstantinos Kalekas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio Passos was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marios Mostratos in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. Marios Mostratos took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Passos. Sérgio Passos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 42nd minute of the match, Marios Mostratos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sérgio Passos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sérgio Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Tsaousis in the 46th minute of play. GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Mostratos in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Marios Mostratos scored 4-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Passos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute Marios Mostratos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marios Mostratos in the 57th minute of play forced GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Sérgio Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thodoris Kotsifakis hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute Babbis Tsaousis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th match minute, GD JULIO DINIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimas Palhares to maneuver through the defense. After 69 minutes of play, GREEN PANTHERS FC's Marios Mostratos made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Passos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the game, Marios Mostratos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Sérgio Passos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sérgio Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Mostratos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the GD JULIO DINIS defense, Marios Mostratos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio Passos. The GD JULIO DINIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Passos should have stopped the shot. If Konstantinos Kalekas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Tsaousis in the 88th minute of the match. GD JULIO DINIS's Sérgio Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Mostratos in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GD JULIO DINIS's Joaquim Simões got a free kick in the 90th minute. Sérgio Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Tsaousis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GREEN PANTHERS FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
